Ego Awareness Ownership
Metaphorical Narrative
Ego loves to play security guard. It shouts: “You can’t get in here! This is the most secure facility!” The voice echoes like a loudspeaker, daring you to try.
But then you shine a flashlight, and the guard disappears. The walls dissolve. What looked like iron gates were cardboard painted silver.
Core Insight
Ego uses the illusion of “security” to protect its scripts. It says, “Don’t even try — I’m unbreakable.” But awareness is the flashlight. The moment you look clearly, the whole setup collapses.
Saturday Experiment
- When ego insists it’s a secure facility, pause.
- Shine the light: “Ego is not mine.”
- Notice how quickly the “guards” vanish.
Sunday Reflection
- What false securities did ego use this week?
- How did it feel to shine awareness instead of forcing entry?
- Did ownership become easier once the walls fell away?
