Metaphorical Narrative
A figure appears on the roadside, dressed in ragged robes, staff in hand, eyes flashing with dire warnings.
“Your routine is broken. You will never make it. Do it differently, not more. Obey me, or lose forever.”
It is not the voice of an enemy outside. It calls itself you. It claims to be your guide, your prophet, the one who knows the only way out.
But look around. There are no walls. No prison. No locked gates. The prophet is selling an escape from a cage that never existed. The costume is impressive, but the stage is fake.
Core Insight
The Ego Trickster often shows up as the False Prophet — a voice that invents danger, declares doom, and then sells you obedience as the sole escape. The fraud works only if you believe you are trapped.
Reality check: you are already free. The prophecy dissolves when you see the trick — without a cage, there is no need for a way out.
Saturday Experiment
- When the voice warns of loss or failure unless you obey, pause.
- Ask: “Where is the cage?” Look around — no bars, no gate.
- Imagine the prophet’s robes catching fire, revealing nothing but smoke. Burn it 🔥.
Sunday Reflection
Write in third person:
- How often does the False Prophet invent cages for him to escape?
- What does he notice when he refuses the prophecy and looks at reality directly?
- How does his body respond when he remembers he is already free?
