Metaphorical Narrative
A musician sits in silence, tuning strings while the audience waits. They don’t rush. They don’t avoid. They know the music begins only when they choose it.
Core Insight
Blunt avoidance says, “I won’t play.” That feels protective but small. Sovereign ownership says, “I’ll play when I choose.” That preserves the field while removing all false urgency.
Presence and timing are inseparable. When you own your moment, you starve ego without shrinking life.
Saturday Experiment
Pick one action today you feel pressured to do immediately. Delay it by five minutes. Do it only when you decide.
Sunday Reflection
Write in third person: “They chose the timing, and presence grew larger.” How did it feel to move on your schedule?
