Ego Awareness Ownership

Metaphorical Narrative

Ego loves to play wall. Big, grey, and heavy. It stands in front of you saying, “You can’t move me. This is just who you are.”

But then you tap it, and the paint chips. What looked like concrete is cardboard. One push of awareness, and the wall folds flat.

Core Insight

Ego survives by pretending to be permanent. It sells the story that you’re stuck with it. But awareness is the quiet force that undoes the trick. The moment you see through it — this isn’t mine — the wall loses its weight.

Saturday Experiment

  • Each time ego shows up like a wall, stop.
  • Say: “Ego is not mine.”
  • Notice how the wall bends once you no longer treat it as permanent.

Sunday Reflection

  • When did ego pretend to be a wall this week?
  • How did awareness show you it wasn’t real stone?
  • Did ownership feel lighter when the wall fell away?
