When the Theatre Collapses

When the old mind implodes, the New Mind doesn’t run. It harnesses the raw energy hiding inside the collapse.

Liberation Somatic Experience

Metaphorical Narrative

The theatre finally buckles under its own weight.
Curtains tear, stage lights flicker, actors vanish mid-line. The building shudders as if the roof itself has had enough.

Inside, you feel it too — the implosion. Chest tightens, stomach knots, face flushes. It’s as if the walls of your nervous system are caving in. For a moment, it feels like you’ll be crushed.

But then you notice: the debris is glowing.
Underneath the rubble, energy still burns — the same energy that once fueled fear and frustration.

Core Insight

Old mind implosion is not the end; it’s a release.
What feels like collapse is actually stored power breaking loose.

The trick is not to run from it, not to patch the theatre, not to rebuild the stage.
The New Mind does something different: it feels the raw charge directly.

  • That jolt in the chest = life force.
  • That knot in the stomach = compressed energy.
  • That heat in the face = vitality returning.

When reclaimed, these sensations stop being threats. They become fuel.

Saturday Experiment

  1. Notice the Implosion. When the body folds in frustration or fear, name it: “Old mind burning down.”
  2. Anchor in Facts. Say out loud: where you are, what date it is, what place you stand.
  3. Harvest the Energy. Instead of avoiding the sensation, breathe into it. Feel it as raw power in the body.
  4. Redirect Calmly. Channel it into presence — standing tall, speaking clearly, or even walking away with authority.

Sunday Reflection

  • When the theatre collapsed this week, what did the implosion feel like in the body?
  • Where did you find hidden energy inside the rubble?
  • How did it feel to redirect that power instead of wasting it on defence or performance?
  • If the old theatre no longer stands, what new stage does your New Mind build for itself?
