Ego Interrupts
Metaphorical Narrative
From the sidelines, a small Imp cackles: “You’ll look stupid. You’ll fail again. Everyone will laugh.”
But if you don’t flinch, the Imp shrinks. His laugh is empty when no one listens.
Core Insight
Ego sabotages through ridicule. But mockery is powerless without attention. Liberation is not fighting, not arguing, but moving on as if the Imp wasn’t even there.
Saturday Experiment
- When mockery arises, whisper: “Tiny Imp.”
- Refuse to stop moving.
- Smile at its weakness.
Sunday Reflection
- What mockery lines appeared today?
- Did ignoring them weaken the Imp?
- How did resilience feel in motion?
