Metaphorical Narrative

A letter slides under your mental door. The envelope is stamped with an official seal:
United States Department of XYZ.

Inside, it reads: “We are looking for people like you. People who can change brain structure in a few days. People who can list their achievements on command.”

For a split second, you almost believe it’s real. You almost sit down to write a list, rehearse the lines, polish the story for an imaginary audience.

But then you laugh. This isn’t an opportunity. It’s spam. A fake recruiter with a fake badge. A scam ad trying to draft you into endless performance.

You burn the letter without opening further. The seal melts. The ashes scatter. And you walk away with a single phrase echoing like steel in your head:

We impress zero.
